About The Role:

As the Quality lead, you will oversee damage inspection and repair workflows, drive process improvements and collaborating with teams and vendors to ensure consistent, cost-effective product quality and disposition.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Implementing best-practice workflows for damage inspection, repair validation, pricing, and product disposition.

  • Analyzing data to identify root causes and trends in product damage.

  • Proposing improvements to processes, equipment, and vendor handling to reduce damage risk.

  • Collaborating with supplier management, shipping, warehousing, operations, and repair partners to drive quality and efficiency.

  • Developing and standardizing criteria for assessing damaged items as retained, repaired, or disposed.

  • Monitoring marketing and sales messaging on slightly damaged products to maintain national consistency.

We’re looking for a Quality Lead who possesses:

  • Strong analytical mindset with proven ability to work with quality data, identify trends, defects, and drive process improvements.

  • A proactive, detail-oriented self-starter who excels at managing varied and complex quality challenges.

  • Effective communication skills to lead quality discussions and set clear expectations with internal teams and external vendors or partners.

  • Ability to interpret quality performance insights and influence stakeholders to support continuous improvement initiatives.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Quality Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related fields are highly desirable.

  • Proven background in quality assurance or leadership within industries such as automotive, collision repair, or related sectors.

Benefits:

  • APG 'Me' Day: A paid, flexible day for team members to use as they wish.

  • Paid Parental Leave: Newly introduced paid parental leave for permanent employees.

  • Training: Comprehensive training, support, and resources provided.

  • Business Perks: Exclusive discounts with retailers like Repco, NAPA, AMX, and Motion Industries.

  • Events: Regular team catch-ups, monthly events, and annual awards.

  • Wellbeing: Free, confidential Employee Assistance Program (EAP) for you and your family, including financial and legal counselling.

  • Diversity: A diverse team with varying ages, nationalities, abilities, and cultures.

  • Security: A 30-year strong and growing business.
