Join Our Team Supporting Mackay’s Mining Operations!
In this role, you will be based at our Paget location in Mackay being a primary point of contact for our mining and heavy industrial customers, managing orders, providing product expertise, and ensuring timely delivery of solutions that meet their operational needs.
You will assist our Mining / Heavy Industrial Division supporting critical mining operations, including:
- Dragline Applications: Supplying parts and components for draglines used in overburden removal and site preparation in open-cut coal mining.
- Wash Plants: Providing essential equipment and replacement parts for coal and mineral wash plants to ensure high-quality product output and operational efficiency.
- Rebuilders: Working closely with rebuilders who refurbish and maintain heavy mining machinery, ensuring availability of quality parts to minimize downtime.

What your day to day looks like:
- Manage inbound sales inquiries and process orders accurately and efficiently.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with our industry customers.
- Provide product information, technical support, and pricing to customers.
- Collaborate with the field sales team, warehouse, and logistics to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with procurement to meet customer demand.
- Identify opportunities for upselling and cross-selling within the mining product portfolio.
Skills and experience we are looking for:
- Proven experience in sales, customer service, or warehousing.
- knowledge of dragline operations, wash plants, mining products, equipment, or related industrial supplies is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office software.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
