We are recruiting for two Channel Sales Manager positions:

• Channel Sales Manager – Commercial
• Channel Sales Manager – Auto Mechanical

About the Role

As Channel Sales Manager, you’ll lead the growth of your respective channel across NAPA NZ. You’ll build key customer and vendor relationships, lead specialist sales representatives and partner with branch, regional, marketing and merchandise teams to grow sales, margin and market share. National travel is required.

What you’ll be doing

• Lead, coach and develop a high-performing specialist sales team. 

• Build strong relationships with key accounts. 

• Deliver channel sales, margin and expense targets. 

• Identify product, pricing and market-share opportunities. 

• Partner with marketing, merchandise and vendors to deliver a strong customer offer. 

• Drive customer engagement through regular branch and key-customer visits. 

• Champion a safe, inclusive and high-performing team culture. 

• Supporting the NAPA promotional programme and collaborating with marketing on the Auto Mechanical channel. 

• Leverage all NAPA’s customer acquisition and retention resources. 

What you’ll bring

• Sales leadership experience within automotive, trade, specialist or commercial sectors. 

• Strong automotive technical knowledge; relevant trade qualifications or specialist industry training are highly regarded. 

• Proven key-account management and commercial capability. 

• The ability to coach, influence and develop people. 

• Strong communication skills and a customer-first approach. 

• A commitment to creating Genuine NAPA Service moments.
