About the role

Motion is seeking a commercially driven and technically capableCategory Managerto lead category growth across the Asia Pacific region.

Reporting to the General Manager, you will develop and execute category strategies that grow sales, margins and market share. You will work closely with sales, supply chain, marketing, engineering, customers and suppliers to strengthen product offerings and deliver commercial outcomes.

What you’ll be doing:

• Developand execute category strategies, sales plans and promotional activities.

• Growcategory sales, profit and market share across the APAC region.

• Manageproduct ranging, pricing, supplier relationships and home-brand growth.

• Partner with sales, supply chain and marketing teams to improve inventory, sales performance and customer outcomes.

• Deliverproduct training and technical support to internal teams and customers.

• Identifynew products, suppliers, customer opportunities and potential acquisition targets.

• Lead and supportProduct Managers, Assistant Product Managers and Business Development Managers.

What you’ll bring:

• Demonstrated technical expertise withinIndustrial Bearings 

• Ability to undertake domestic and international travel as required, typically on a monthly basis.

• Strong commercial acumenand experience developing category or strategic sales plans.

• Experience managing supplier relationships, product ranges, pricing and category performance.

• Excellentcommunication, organisation and time-management skills.

• Confidence managing multiple prioritiesand working to deadlines.

• Proficiencyin Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint and Power BI; ERP and CRM experience is also valued.

• A safety-focused, collaborative and customer-driven approach.
